Do you only work in Campania?
No. Design, calculation and documentation are done remotely with any company. Site visits, on-site surveys and classroom training are agreed case by case, with travel quoted separately in the offer.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on what is needed: number of drawings, analyses required, regulatory documentation, timing. On the formulas page you will find rates and estimated prices for typical cases: a single job starts at around 400 euros, a project-based job at around 1,500 euros, the monthly hours package at 1,120 euros a month, always VAT excluded. In any case you receive a written quote before we start, and that figure does not change unless the scope changes.
How quickly do you reply?
Within 24 working hours of the request, with a substantive first answer and not just an acknowledgement of receipt.
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes, gladly. If you ask, the NDA is signed before we receive any drawing, model or production data.
Who owns the files at the end of the job?
You. We deliver the native CAD sources as well as PDFs and neutral formats, so anyone can modify the design, even without us.
Our technical office uses a different CAD system.
No problem: files are exchanged in STEP, IGES and DWG, as well as the native format. The format is agreed before starting, so nobody wastes time converting.
Can you support our technical office instead of replacing it?
That's the most common case. We step in during workload peaks or on the parts that need specialist skills — FEM analysis, compliance, industrialisation — leaving the rest to your team.
Do you also follow construction in the workshop?
Yes, support during fabrication is included in per-project jobs: clarifications on drawings, changes arising on the shop floor and updating of revisions.

Mechanical design
Do you also do just the detail drawings?
Yes. If you already have the 3D model and only need the manufacturing documentation, we take on that part: views, dimensioning, tolerances and bill of materials.
In what format do you deliver the files?
The native format of the CAD system we work with, plus neutral STEP and IGES, drawings in PDF and DWG. If your technical office uses another system, we agree the format before starting.
Do you also follow construction in the workshop?

Calculation and simulation
Do you need the 3D model to run the analysis?
It helps but isn't mandatory. If you only have drawings or sketches, we build the calculation geometry ourselves: it's often a simplified version of the production model anyway.
Is the report valid for a regulatory procedure?
The report sets out assumptions, method and results in a traceable form, suitable for inclusion in a technical file. The signature of a licensed professional, when required, must be agreed separately.
How long does a verification take?
A static verification of a single component is typically completed in a few days. Fatigue, thermal transients and CFD take longer: the time is estimated in the quote.
Automation and robotics
Do you also do the control panel and programming?
No. We design the mechanics and pneumatics, define the interfaces and signals, and coordinate with your integrator or electrical department. This keeps responsibilities clear and leaves you free to choose your electrical partner.
Can you work on a machine that is in production?
Yes, and it's an important part of the work. We start from an on-site survey because archive drawings almost never match what was built, and the intervention is designed to fit within your downtime window.
How do you estimate the cycle time before building?
From the elementary movements and the characteristics of the chosen actuators, with an openly stated margin. If the rate is critical to your business case, we move to a dedicated kinematic simulation before committing the budget.
Who signs the cell's declaration of conformity?
The machine manufacturer or whoever assembles the whole. We produce the risk assessment, technical file and manual that support it, but the signature and responsibility remain with whoever places it on the market.
Do you work with a particular robot brand?
No, and we have no agreements with any manufacturer. The robot and components are chosen on the application's requirements and on what you are already equipped to maintain, not on a commission.
How much does a cell cost?
It varies too much to give a figure here: it depends on the part, the rate, the degree of automation and how much already exists. With a twenty-minute call and a few photos of the area we can give you an order of magnitude and tell you whether the project makes economic sense.
Plants and energy
Do you also sell the systems?
No, and that's why the audit is independent: we have no interest in pushing one technology over another. If needed, we put you in touch with suppliers and compare their offers.
How long does an audit take?
For a medium-sized plant, two to four weeks between data collection, on-site survey and processing.
Do you also carry out mandatory energy audits?
No. For large and energy-intensive companies obliged by Italian Legislative Decree 102/2014, the audit must be carried out by a certified energy management expert (EGE) or ESCo. The studio handles voluntary audits, feasibility studies and sizing of measures on machines and processes.
Do you design building services?
No: in Italy the design of heating and electrical installations in buildings subject to Ministerial Decree 37/2008 is reserved to professionals registered with a professional body. The studio works on process plants, machines and efficiency measures, and works with the installation designer when needed.
Are the stated savings guaranteed?
The savings are stated together with the assumptions behind them and verified with a measurement after the intervention. Result-guarantee clauses are assessed case by case at the offer stage.
Standards and compliance
Can you sign the declaration of conformity?
No: the declaration is signed by the manufacturer, who takes responsibility for it. We prepare everything that supports it and check that it is complete and consistent.
Do you work on machines already in service?
Yes. The typical case is an old machine to be brought up to standard or a line made of several machines that becomes an assembly: both have a defined documentation route.
What changes for the railway sector?
The regulatory framework changes: you work with technical specifications for interoperability and dedicated standards such as EN 14033, with an independent body doing the verification. The documentation logic, however, is the same.
Production and industrialisation
Do you have your own workshop?
No, and this leaves us independent in the choice of supplier. We work with your workshop or your network of subcontractors, and we can help you compare quotes on technical grounds.
Can you assess a part we already produce?
Yes, it's one of the most useful jobs: reviewing an existing part with an eye on cost often frees up margin without touching its function.
Do you also do CNC programming?
Programming stays with the department or the subcontractor. We define the routing, set-ups and inspections, and supply the models in the format the CAM needs.
Materials and treatments
Do you carry out the laboratory tests?
Tests are carried out by accredited laboratories. We define the test plan, follow its execution and interpret the results in the context of the project.
Can you analyse a part that has broken?
Yes. We need the part as it is — not cleaned or reworked — together with the conditions of use and the component's history. From there we trace back to the failure mechanism.
Do you help reduce material cost?
Often, yes: replacing a premium alloy with a more common one plus a suitable treatment, with the same performance, is one of the measures with the fastest return.
Technical communication
Do you start from our CAD model?
Yes, it's the best way: the material stays true to the design and is updated when the design changes. If there's no model, we assess whether to rebuild it.
Can you also handle corporate graphics?
Yes, from the catalogue to the website. If a corporate identity manual already exists we follow it; if not, the basic rules are defined first.
In what formats do you deliver?
High-resolution images for print and web versions, MP4 videos, print-ready PDF layouts, plus the source files for updates.
