Thermal calculation of a radiant panel to EN 1264

Description

The output of a radiant panel is defined by the standard: pipe spacing, thermal resistance of the layers, flow temperature and temperature difference determine the specific power and the surface temperature, which has a limit fixed for comfort. The calculation returns the actual output and the hydraulic operating point of the circuit, for the panel manufacturer or for the installer.

What it includes

• Specific thermal output to EN 1264-2 for the given build-up
• Check of the surface temperature against the comfort limits
• Circuit spacing and maximum length per circuit
• Pressure drops and flow rate of each circuit to EN 1264-3
• Calculation report with the output curve

What we need from you

• Panel build-up with materials and thicknesses
• Pipe diameter and spacing, or required output
• Design flow temperature and temperature difference
• Surface to be covered and type of installation

Data is sent after the order confirmation, by email or with a sharing link. On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving the files.
