2. Subject
These terms govern the sale of the fixed-price engineering services described in the catalogue pages. Each page states the scope of work, the data the client must provide, the documents delivered, the excluded activities, the price and the delivery time.
3. Order and conclusion of the contract
The price request sent from the site is free and not binding. The seller replies with a written offer, stating the service, the options chosen, the price, the delivery time and the payment details, valid for 30 days. The contract is concluded when the customer pays the offer, which counts as acceptance of the offer and of these terms. If the customer's data show work that differs from the standard scope, the seller says so before starting: the customer may accept a dedicated quotation or obtain a refund of what has been paid.
4. Prices
The starting price of each service is visible in the catalogue cards to registered users, in euro and net of VAT, and includes the 20% discount reserved for the first request of each account; from the second request onwards the full price applies. It is an indication referring to the standard scope without options, not an offer. The binding price is the one stated in the offer, in euro, net of VAT and with the total including VAT at 22%. The options (urgent delivery, report in English, revision cycles, scope extensions) are included in the offer with their amount.
5. Payment
Payment is made by advance bank transfer, on the basis of the offer received. The electronic invoice follows the payment.
6. Performance and delivery
The delivery time, in working days, runs from receipt of both payment and all the input data listed on the page. The deliverables are delivered electronically to the client's email address. Delays in supplying data or incomplete data move the delivery accordingly.
7. Client data and liability
The verifications are carried out on the basis of the data, models and loads supplied by the client, who guarantees their correctness and completeness. The seller is responsible for the correctness of the method and the application of the standards indicated; it is not liable for errors arising from wrong or incomplete data, or for use of the deliverables for purposes other than those stated on the page. The deliverables do not replace conformity assessments that are the responsibility of notified bodies or authorities.
The catalogue services are technical design, calculation and documentation services. They do not include services reserved by Italian law to professionals registered with a professional body, such as structural designs of building works, static testing, designs of building installations subject to Ministerial Decree 37/2008 and mandatory energy audits under Legislative Decree 102/2014: when these are needed, the client entrusts them to a licensed professional.
8. Confidentiality and ownership
Documents received from the client are treated as confidential and are not disclosed to third parties. On request, a non-disclosure agreement is signed before data is exchanged. On payment in full, the client acquires the right to use the deliverables for the product to which they refer.
9. Consumer's right of withdrawal
The consumer client may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving reasons, by an explicit communication to info@ranieritech.com. In case of withdrawal, the amounts paid are refunded within 14 days, by the same means of payment.
If the consumer has expressly requested that performance begin during the withdrawal period, in the event of withdrawal they must pay an amount proportional to the services already provided. The right of withdrawal does not apply when the service has been fully performed, if performance began with their express consent and acknowledgement of the loss of the right (art. 59(1)(a) of the Italian Consumer Code). Without this request, performance begins at the end of the withdrawal period.
The consumer may use this template: «I/We hereby give notice that I/we withdraw from my/our contract for the provision of the following service: … ordered on … / received on …, name of consumer, address of consumer, date». The right of withdrawal does not apply to clients purchasing for professional purposes.
10. Complaints
Complaints and requests for clarification must be sent to info@ranieritech.com; the seller replies within 10 working days.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction; in other cases, the court of the place where the seller is based.
12. Personal data
The data collected with the price request and with the order are processed to perform the contract and to meet tax obligations, as described in the privacy policy.
13. Subscription to the calculation tools
The calculation tools in the Tools section can be used free of charge a few times; to continue, an account and the monthly subscription are required, which gives access to all the tools with no usage limits. The monthly fee, VAT included, is shown before payment and is paid in advance by card, through Stripe, or with PayPal. The subscription renews every month with the same payment method until it is cancelled.
The subscription can be cancelled at any time from the client area, or by writing to info@ranieritech.com: cancellation stops future renewals and access remains active until the end of the month already paid for. A consumer who asked for immediate activation may still withdraw within 14 days of the first payment, under point 9: in that case they pay only for the part of the month already elapsed and are refunded the rest.
The tools provide guidance calculations: the results must be checked by the user, who remains responsible for them, and they do not replace a design verification. The seller may update, correct or replace the tools, and gives at least 30 days' notice of any change in the fee, which the customer may refuse by cancelling the subscription.
