Description
EN 303-5 sets, for solid fuel boilers up to 500 kW, the construction, safety and performance requirements and the tests that demonstrate them. The assessment runs through the heat balance of the generator, the exchange surface, the necessary draught and the prescribed safety devices, and returns the documentation to bring to the test.
What it includes
- Heat balance of the generator and useful output at the declared efficiency
- Exchange surface and check of the flue gas temperatures
- Combustion air flow and draught sizing to EN 13384-1
- Safety devices prescribed by EN 303-5, including protection against flame back-burn
- Check of the feeding system from the hopper or the tank
- Water-side safety requirements to EN 12828
- Technical report with the requirement-evidence matrix of EN 303-5

- Rated output, fuel and target boiler class
- Characteristics of the burner and of the feeding system
- Data of the existing or planned chimney
Data is sent after the order confirmation, by email or with a sharing link. On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving the files.

Yes, for the scope described on this page: the price stated in the offer, plus VAT, including the options you selected. If the data you send show work that differs from the standard one, we tell you before starting and you decide whether to go ahead with a dedicated quotation or to cancel at no cost.
How do I pay?
By advance bank transfer, on the basis of the offer you receive after the price request. Work starts when the payment and the input data have been received.
When will I receive the work?
Within 10 working days of receiving payment and all the required data; with the urgent option the time is halved.
Can I order as a private individual?
Yes. The offer also states the price including VAT, and as a consumer you have the right to withdraw within 14 days under the terms of sale.
